Eric loved working on cars. He restored a 1968 corvette, a 1970 Chevelle SS, and a Buick Grand National. He worked as a body shop manager at McGlone Caddilac and a parts manager for Drummy Olds. He was the only person who could dismantle an entire car and reassemble it in a month. Eric suffered from depression. He was married to Linda Tuttle and lived in St. Clair Shores.
